Italian mountain guide Patrick Raspo is a 21st Century action man. In the winter he's guiding heli-ski clients down untouched runs in the Aosta's high alpine and in the summer he's climbing, hiking and biking. So he's the perfect ambassador to put Pally'Hi merino to the test.
With the big Atlantic surf Nic and his buddies had hoped for failing to make an appearance, the crew travelled to the final destination of their trip, Paradise Valley. Apparently cliff jumping, home cooked tagines and magical nut oils more than make up for a lack of swell.
Tagazhout hadn't offered Nic and his buddies the chilled vibes or the overhead waves they'd hoped for so the crew packed their car and drove North to Sidi Kaouki in search of the ultimate Moroccan surf destination.
Getting away from it all and enjoying adventures in the Great Outdoors is one of the good things in life. Last weekend Rich, one of Pally'Hi's resident bloggers, stayed local and went on a singletrack mission with his mountain bike in the forests that line the Danube just east of Regensburg.
After the excitement of Marrakesh, Pally'Hi ambassador Nic Spiers and his friends headed west to the Atlantic coast, to the small surf town of Taghazout in search of waves, easy livin' and fresh seafood. Did they score any waves? You'll have to read this blog post to find out.
Famous for it's bustling markets, vividly coloured pyramids of spices and cheeky haggling merchants, Marrakesh is an assault on the senses. Pally'Hi ambassador Nic Spiers spent a few days in Morocco's capital before heading west in search of waves.
Perhaps with the exception of Mt Olympos on the isle of Cyprus, the Sierra Navada's are the location of the most southerly ski resort in Europe. It might be May, but this year's bumper snowfalls have meant that there's still plenty of snow. Pally'Hi ambassador Kuky spent last week there with the Spanish Snowboard Team.

Morocco Calling

Last week Pally'Hi ambassador Nic Spiers packed his bags (full of Pally'Hi clobber of course), filled his van full of diesel and headed south from his winter base in Tignes, France to the southern tip of Spain. His destination? Morocco. His mission? Culture and waves!

Le Chic Magnifique

From Snowboard World Champion to Merino clothing brand owner... Munich based lifestyle and fashion magazine Chic interviewed Pally'Hi's owner Peter Bauer to join the dots.
Welcome to sping! If you're reading this blog post then you made it through the cold dark months of Winter. Think again if you think Merino is just for the cold, we've added lots of lightweight merino clothing to the Pally'Hi line to keep you cool and stylish no matter how blisteringly hot summer gets this year.
Last weekend Pally'Hi was in Baqueira Beret in the Spanish Pyrenees for the legendary Val D'Aran freeride contest. Some creative and brave lines went down on some of Europe's premier freeride mountains.
Pally'Hi is on the road again. This time the man behind Pally'Hi, Peter Bauer, was in the Spanish resort of Baqueira-Beret to help judge the Val D'Aran Freeride contest. The day before the event Peter hooked up with Fernando, Pally'Hi's man in Spain to shred some fresh snow.

McRae Wins in Vars

News in from France is that Pally'Hi ambassador McRae Williams has just taken the top spot at the finals of the SFR tour in VARS La Floret Blanche.

Huettengaudi

After years of free coffee and pretzels from the Osthang Alm in Spitzingsee, Pally'Hi's owner Peter dropped off a box of merino gear for the guys and girls working there.
Snow in the Italian Dolomites has reached epic levels. Pally'Hi ambassadors Philipp Krogoll and Anderl Zissler headed south from the snow starved Bavarian Alps to check it out and were amazed by what they saw.
Last weekend the Pally'Hi office team hit the road and traveled south west through Austria and Italy to the Aosta Valley. The Aosta Valley lies beneath a towering Mt Blanc, or Monte Bianco depending on which side of the boarder your sitting. Powder was on the agenda.
In the first minutes of this month's I Ride Park City episode, filmer AJ Dakoulas captures Pally'Hi ambassador McRae practicing his run for the Park City Grand Prix.
Yesterday the Freeride World Tour rolled into the quaint Tirolean town of Fieberbrunn for the third tour stop. Snowpack is a little thin, but at least recent snowfalls and cold temperatures have made the venue rideable. Watch the event live tomorrow from 8am CET.
After just missing out on the fourth and final spot in the US Slopestyle Team for the Sochi Olympics, Pally'Hi ambassedor McRae Williams came back fighting at the Winter X Games in Aspen and took home the silver medal.
After a mid-season, three week hiatus, snow has returned to the Bavarian and Austrian Alps. Pally'Hi's owner Peter Bauer took the opportunity to wrap up warm in some Pally'Hi Merino and take one of next winter's Amplid boards for a test ride.

John Took a Tumble

Pally'Hi ambassador John Rodosky is riding in the Freeride World Tour. Sometimes competing in such crazy terrain and at such a high level invevitably results in a tumble or two. Here's a shot from John's helmet cam from his run in Courmayeur, Italy.
Freerider John Rodosky from Jackson Hole, Wyoming will be wearing Pally'Hi merino wool base layers this winter as he follows the Freeride World tour across North America and the European Alps.
For the last two months Pally'Hi athlete McRae Williams has been battling for a spot on the US slopestyle team for the Sochi Olympics. This weekend saw the final qualifying event taking place in McRae's home resort, Park City, Utah.
Pally'Hi founder Peter Bauer has been joining the Future Try Test event at Davos' Jakobshorn with his Brand AMPLID. RnD never stops, not for boards and not for first layer products. Blue sky and -8°C were the perfect test lab for Peter.
